Greetings to our Valued Neighbors at Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Areas! Work continues on our Epic Lift Upgrade projects at both Jack Frost and Big Boulder and we are very excited for the upcoming winter season! As a side benefit to these projects, we have plenty of “vintage” lift chairs looking for new homes. In case you haven’t heard, we are auctioning off a selection of chairs from each old lift with the proceeds going to the Lake Harmony Fire Department, the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad, and our own Epic Promise Foundation. We are all aware of the great things that our Fire Department and Rescue Squad do for our communities, but you may not be familiar with Vail’s Epic Promise Foundation. In a nutshell, the EPF provides assistance to employees in times of crisis such as unplanned medical issues and home disasters and awards scholarships for higher education to employees and their dependents. Since its founding in 2016, the ETF has given over $6.4 million dollars to 8,500 employees including some of our own from JFBB. The auction is online and opens to the public on September 9 through September 10 with pick up dates and times set for the following two weekends. Please visit our website www.JFBB.com for details about the auction and how you can own a piece of JFBB history! Should you have any questions about the auction or anything else JFBB-related, please feel free to email us at JFBBinfo@vailresorts.com . You will receive an automated response saying that the resorts are currently closed, but the mailbox is being monitored regularly and we will respond to your queries in a timely manner. Follow our Epic Lift Upgrade progress and all other things JFBB on social media: @skijfbb on Instagram, and JFBB on Facebook. We can hardly wait to see you on the slopes! -Trent Poole GM: Jack Frost Big Boulder
