I hope everyone is having a great summer. Below are a couple of reminders for you in case you missed an email.
First - Water Boil Reminder: we will be having maintenance work performed on the storage tank. This work is required by the State to be performed every 5-7 years. The scope of work includes draining the tank, cleaning the inside, and re-coating the interior of the tank to ensure clean water. The project is anticipated to take 3-5 days to complete, as a result, we have obtained permitting to install an auxiliary tanker to take the place of the tank during the project. The auxiliary tanker will be connected today and will serve as our storage tank for the duration of the project. During the final install of the tanker today, we may see some water disruption. Any disruption will be brief, as the connections are made. Effective today, the Village is under a boil advisory (see attached notice). This boil advisory will be in place until we have the storage tank fully operational and test results are achieved that meet the State DEP standards. Please abide by the boil advisory.
